The founder of Princess Anita Teens Development Initiative and recipient of the prestigious African teens ambassador award, Princess Anita Umeweni has advised parents to be vocal when teaching their children morals.
Stressing the saying that “charity begins at home”, she pointed out that child upbringing for positive societal norms and values is not about monitoring and unnecessary enforcement of rules and regulations but ensuring that children inculcate and do not go astray from the right morals.
In this interview, she spoke about her passion for African children, her encounters and efforts in raising affected children especially destitute children on the streets.
