AFAN PRESIDENT TELLS FARMERS TO BUILD SELF ESTEEM, IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY
The president of the joint unions of farmers – All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN) Alhaji Faruok Rabiu Mudi has advised farmers to build their self esteem and seek strategic measures that will improve agricultural production.

“Farming is no more a dirty looking venture where farmers are left alone to be begging for fertilizers and implement to do farm work, farmers must work on their abilities, create and use available opportunities to improve on productivity, live in best of houses, buy best of cars and live flamboyantly”
The AFAN president who maintained that he is committed to the opportunity of using his position to mobilize farmers for greatness pointed out that the population of the country which is constantly growing can be very useful in the development of several agricultural procedures and breeding of experts in the various stages of farming.
He noted that if citizens are serious about developing farming there will be people who will be manufacturing fertilizers, building industries and machineries for the different stages of farming.
