OUR LADY QUEEN OF NIGERIA CATHOLIC CHURCH: WOMEN COORDINATOR HAILS ARCHBISHOP KAIGAMA’S VISIT AT BAZAAR
The visitation and prayer declarations by the Archbishop of Abuja, His grace Most Reverend Ignatius Ayau Kaigama at the harvest thanksgiving, cultural day and bazaar of Our Lady Queen of Nigeria Catholic Church area 3, Abuja has been described and hailed as significant by the women coordinator of the church, Dr Victoria Mary Pillah.
Ascribing all the praises to God at the close of the event on sunday, she said that the visitation and prayer declarations round the parishioners by the Archbishop added more greatness, encouragement and spirituality to the annual programme.
She compared this year’s bazaar to those of previous years, expressing excitement at the presence of the Archbishop saying that it makes this year’s bazaar greater than last year and two years back.
” The Archbishop was in Enugu but for the first time, he came back and joined us for the harvest and he went from one stand to the other telling us that he is with us. For us, this year is better than any other year” she said.
She pointed out that the harvest and thanksgiving are important celebrations because the story of thanksgiving stems from the bible where ten lepers were healed but only one returned to thank Jesus for the miracle.
Dr Pillah stated that the harvest of abundance in 2024 in good health of mind and body despite the economic challenges is worth celebrating because the people are alive to celebrate.
She admonished women to continue to worship God in truth and mercy in their entire life and trust in God because it is only God who cannot disappoint.
