EXPERTS SPEAK ON AEA YOUNG ENTREPRENEUR COMPETITION
ALHAJI SABIU SAIDU MAHUTA Director Business Development A.A. Rano Nig limited TASKS SCHOOLS ON COMMITMENT, PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR OVERALL BEST
This event rekindles my hope about the future of this country, there is no better to orientate a young generation than their early school age. This event shows hope, vision, commitment, determination, by the outcome of this event, the students have proved to be leaders of today and potential leaders of tomorrow, I want them to ensure that they are not deterred by any challenge they come across because it is easier to have a business but not so easy to nurture it to success, they must remain focused and committed, they must see challenge as a factor to success, be ready to prevail over any difficulty, give more attention and progress behavior to their innovations. In A.A. Rano, part of our corporate social responsibility is to see that we follow closely to the winning school, watch the ideas and give them support not only financially or in kind but to mentor and monitor their programme to progress till they become what they aspire to be.
MRS HAJARAT ALAYANDE Director FCT Department of mass education—FCTA IS ON THE RIGHT PART BREEDING YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS I am very impressed about the competition because it shows we are on the right part catching these children young and breeding them in entrepreneurial development. By the achievement of these young students, before they finish school they will be independent earning money as entrepreneur in organized and prosperous way, when they are in higher institution or graduated they will not be dependent on their parents or anybody because of the exposure to the business world. The students should remain focused and committed, prepared to take off to greater heights, their future is guaranteed, parents should encourage their children in their preparation to be leaders of tomorrow, the children must disassociate from negative habits, no drugs , no bullying but hardwork and determination to succeed, we should stop looking down on public schools the fantastic performances of these student shows that FCT minister and administration are doing everything possible in education of young people, with this we can have a better society, DR ZARMA HALIRU Programme Officer, private sector development, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) HARPS ON NECESSARY ENVIRONMENT FOR INNOVATION JICA is one of the bilateral international organizations that focus on youth development especially in Ares of capacity building, entrepreneurship and other areas of social development, we have programmes that we have been doing with ministry of education and we are looking forward to how we can move ahead, Abuja Enterprise Agency because we are partners in private sector development in Nigeria, to focus on youths for innovative, we have to ensure that necessary environment is made for them to excel, these days it is not about acquiring certificate it is about skill acquisition, it is about employing themselves, passing through this type of programme will enable them to build personal abilities, they will not wait for government employment when they graduate but will be self sufficient.
