2025:DG NYSC TASKS STAFF, CORPS MEMBERS ON INTENSIFIED EFFORTS
The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier General Yushau Ahmed has called on corps members and staff of the scheme to step up efforts for the noble assignments ahead in their collective resolve to sustain vigorous implementation of their mandate of fostering national unity, integration and development of Nigeria.
According to a statement by the Acting Director of information and public relations Caroline Embu, the DG who heartily felicitated with the staff and corps members for the new year appreciated them for their resilience and dogged commitment to duty at their various locations, which culminated in the unprecedented successes recorded in the year 2024.
He expressed optimism that year 2025 will record greater achievements in their quest to extend the frontiers of development to all the critical sectors of the national economy.
Reiterating his commitment to engage relevant stakeholders to increasingly make facilities and opportunities available for empowerment under the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), he enjoined all Corps Members to actively participate and maximally utilize it for self development.
The DG appreciated collaborating agencies and stakeholders for their invaluable support and assured them of increased opportunities for more engagements in the new year,
He assured that the management of NYSC would continue to improve on the statutory responsibilities to Nigerians by ensuring that it consolidates on its laudable achievements as
it looks forward to a rewarding and prosperous year 2025.
