2025:CAN URGES NIGERIANS TO RETURN TO GOD FOR PEACE AND PROGRESS
The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged Nigerians to return to God in 2025 for the expected unity, peace and progress of the country.
The president of CAN, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, in his new year goodwill message noted that despite the economic downturn insecurity and other challenges, God’s grace was in abundance to sustain the nation throughout 2024.
“As we look ahead to 2025, we urge all Nigerians to return to God and serve Him faithfully. Only by seeking His guidance and walking in His ways can we find the peace, unity, and progress we all long for as a nation,” he said.
“We also call on those in governance to lead with compassion, transparency, and accountability. Let decisions be made with the welfare of the people in mind, ensuring that no Nigerian is left behind in the pursuit of a prosperous nation.
He stated that with God’s continued grace and collective commitment to His will, he believes that 2025 will be a year of transformation and renewal for the beloved country.
The president who charged Nigerians to move forward in faith, unity and hope that all shall be well, prayed that “God bless Nigeria and guide it on the path of righteousness in 2025 and beyond.
